This Acknowledgement is to ensure that the personal data of Medyasoft Danışmanlık ve Eğitim Anonim Şirketi ("Company") is processed in accordance with the LPPD and other relevant legislation during the use of the website. The use of the Website shall mean that this Acknowledgement has been read, understood, and accepted. If you do not agree with the rules set out in this Acknowledgement, we ask that you immediately terminate the use of the website.

Which Personal Data is Processed?

During your visit to the website, no personal data is automatically collected with analytical and marketing cookies and/or similar technologies, except for Mandatory Cookies, except for the data you voluntarily share with our Company. In summary, during the visit to our website, only the personal information you send voluntarily to the e-mail address we share with you and the personal information you share to contact us in the contact us section are processed. In other words, to get information about Unigate CMS and/or to create a Demo Account to experience Unigate CMS, you can share your name, surname, email address, phone number, title and position of the company you work for with our Company.

Apart from the data you share voluntarily; passive information can be obtained to organize and develop the site in line with your needs. Data such as your IP address, internet provider type, domain name, number of visits to the site and duration of your stay on the site are within the "passive information". Without your permission, this information may not be disclosed and may only be stored for internal use.

Other cookies (such as performance/marketing) are not used on our website except for technical/mandatory cookies. We would like to point out that technical/mandatory cookies (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) are mandatory for the functionality of the website. In Which Ways is Personal Data Processed?

By visiting the website, you can share your personal data only in the contact us at your own request section and/or during the creation of a demo account. Apart from this, your data will not be processed by other means during your visit to the website, except for the data saved by the mandatory cookies.

For What Purposes Is Your Personal Data Processed?

The Company may use your personal data to evaluate, analyze and respond to your requests and to create your demo account. Your personal data also is also processed:

  • To promote and market the goods and services of the Company, to promote our Company and our products or to increase our recognition with contents such as celebration and wish since Unigate CMS product is a product suitable for corporate use, with the assumption that you share the data you share for your professional profession and the commercial activities of the company you work for;

To organize visits or to contact you to invite you to meetings or events or to conduct market research and to remember how and when we interact with you to establish a commercial relationship with you within the scope of the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the LPPD.

For the avoidance of doubt, we would like to state that we do not need your explicit consent regarding the commercial message because you share your data as a merchant and tradesman. However, we would like to point out that you can always select, change, remove and re-add your commercial message communication preferences on the CMS.

Transfer of Personal Data

The Company may only share your personal data with Group Companies and Affiliates and domestic service providers and business partners of our Company in matters requiring expertise such as information technologies and mailing in order to realize the data processing purposes specified in the relevant section.

Finally, your personal data may also be shared with the judicial and administrative authorities or institutions and organizations that request it in accordance with the legislation.

Apart from this, it does not share with any third parties and institutions in the country or abroad.

Method and Legal Reason for Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is processed in accordance with Articles 5.2/c, 5.2/d, 5.2/e and 5.2/f of the LPPD, on your own request, for the purpose of communicating with you, and for legal reasons such as "data processing is necessary for the establishment and performance of the contract", "data processing is mandatory for the establishment, use or protection of a right" and "data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller".

Because, in order to create your demo account, your information must be verified, and your account must be activated. In addition, your data is processed for reasons such as receiving your questions and requests, providing you with information about our company's products and services, and in the light of the above-mentioned articles.

Finally, considering the nature of the Unigate CMS product, we assume that you have contacted our Company through the website for commercial purposes. For this reason, we declare that our Company may send you commercial electronic messages in accordance with Article 6/3 of the Regulation on Commercial Communication and Commercial Electronic Messages. However, we would like to point out that you can always select, change, remove and re-add your commercial message communication preferences on the CMS.

Rights of Persons Concerned

As personal data owners, if you submit your requests regarding your rights to our Company with the Application Form presented to your attention, our Company will conclude the request free of charge within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. However, if a fee is stipulated by the Personal Data Protection Board, the fee determined by our Company will be charged. In this context, personal data owners are entitled:

  • To learn whether or not your personal data has been processed;
  • to ask for information if your personal data has been processed;
  • to learn the purpose of processing the personal data and if such personal data has been used in accordance with the intended purpose;
  • to know the local or overseas data importers to which your personal data has been transferred;
  • to ask for rectification or correction if your personal data has been processed wrongly or insufficiently and ask that such rectification or correction be notified to the third persons to whom personal data have been transferred;
  • to ask for deletion or destruction of your personal data and ask that such deletion or destruction be notified to the third persons to whom personal data have been transferred in case where the reasons requiring the processing of personal data are no more existing even if the personal data has been processed in accordance with LPPD and other applicable laws;
  • to challenge the raising of a prejudicing effect caused by analysis of personal data exclusively by means of automated systems; and
  • to claim damages if the data subject suffers losses due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.
Duration of Data Retention

The Company retains your personal data only if necessary for the purpose for which it is collected.

Data Security

Your Personal Data will be kept in a password-protected database accessible only to certain employees of the Company. All necessary precautions will be taken in accordance with the legislation while maintaining your data.
